The minute your turkey dinner has settled, don’t waste any time in your quest for the best Black Friday deals in Denver. This marathon shopping day should begin with a solid plan of attack. I am here to help you make the most of your Black Friday shopping with a road map for success. Begin with finding a friend with your same enthusiasm and stamina to take on the day. It’s always more fun to shop with a friend. Next, leave the house in a comfy, stylish outfit that says you mean business. This black and white, ruffled sleeve sweater from Intrique Boutique is perfect for accomplishing your Black Friday mission in style; coupled with these go-to black, distressed Flying Monkey jeans from Stitch Boutique . Also, let’s be practical, and cute, and wear shoes that can withstand all the miles you are gonna log today like these adorable Presto Pink Nikes from DVSN WEST.
- Prepare a list of friends, relatives, teachers, boyfriends, pets etc that will be expecting a cute holiday gift from you, including a few notes on what they like, if they have been “bad” or “good”; as well as a budget amount you plan to spend.
- First stop coffee. This is a day that requires a big caffeine boost. I recommend the Flat White coffee at one of my favorite spots, Black Black Coffee at Taxi.
- Okay, now that your brain is functioning properly, here are a few fun places that are sure to have something special for everyone on your list:
Hope Tank – These guys have so many funny gift items that won’t break the bank. And even better, every item sold at Hope Tank goes to support a different cause. My favorite notebook “I was in a book club once, it was called college”
Spinster Sisters – Lip Balm, the perfect stocking stuffer
Adorn – on-line, Boulder designer, Laura Norris creates affordable, easy-to-wear pieces; and let’s face it, who doesn’t love to receive a piece of jewelry for the holidays
Two Pals & a Pup – Don’t forget about your furry friends with organic doggie treats from this adorable Cherry Creek pet boutique.
By about 1 p.m. you will need to to make a pit stop and refuel for the final stretch. Nothing is better than a protein packed Kale Yeah, Mother Brussel salad from Green Seed Market. This healthy gem is located inside Denver’s Central Market, and after you are done stop by Temper Chocolates and pick up a box of handmade truffles for Grandpa. Or you could use grab a pizza for lunch at Blackbird Public House
As the sun begins to set on your Black Friday, your feet will be sore, your brain will have shut down and it will be time for some TLC that is all about you. So remember to book your spa appointment in advance at Eden Day Spa. They will take good care of you with their $99 facial/massage package. And while you are at it, while not kill two birds with one stone and get your mom a gift certificate.
Have fun shopping on Black Fri-yay! And enjoy sleeping in on Saturday in order to gear up for Cyber Monday!
