My friend Diane Lessnau, owner of Soignee Elegant Attire, invited me to attend the Ashley Lauren trunk show to see what is trending for this year’s prom season:
Let me start by introducing you to Ashley Lauren:
ASHLEYlauren is a young, beautiful and red-carpet ready fashion line consisting of evening, cocktail, mother of the bride, bridal, prom, homecoming and pageant dresses.
Using the latest materials for a superior fit, Ashley prides herself on creating a look and feel that brings out the essence of a woman’s beauty. Her dresses are designed and constructed with a woman’s body in mind. She pays special attention to every detail to accentuate a woman’s curves and shape leaving her construction unparalleled. With built-in corseting Ashley’s customers receive a couture feel and style at a more affordable price. Every piece in the line provides a sensuous experience, distinctive look and one-of-a-kind fit adding a level of poise and confidence to any event.
In her own words, “I love fashionable, beautiful pieces crafted out of rich and luxurious fabrics. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing a woman enter a room in a great fitting dress and glowing with confidence. The dress plays an important part in making that entrance truly memorable; I am proud to be a part of its creation.” Ashley Lauren
ASHLEYlauren prom dresses are designed to make you feel fabulous, and stand out. In additional designing dresses, Ashley also produces her own magazine that showcases her elegant creations:
It’s obvious, when you see Ashley’s dresses in person and when you wear Ashley Lauren to prom you are sure to make an entrance. Her dresses are available in a variety of silhouettes, fabrics and colors. You can alo follow Ashley’s blog for styling tips.
In addition I got to meet some really special young ladies who are current and previous winners of Miss Colorado. Many pagent contestants wear Ashley Lauren when they compete, and who could blame them! Her dresses fit like a glove and make you look like a Queen. I am currently shopping for a very special dress because I will be attending the Presidential Inaguration festivities in Washington D.C. in January and I think this black dress is perfect. What do you think? Leave me a comment and let me know. There was also a really great goodie bag at this event that included a free necklace from Amy Nix, designer/Owner of Louise & James. The coolest thing about this necklace is that Amy encourages you to give her necklace to someone who could use a simple act of kindness AND if you let her know you did that, she will send you another one!
School starts for me next week and it’s my Junior year. I will be very busy this year and can’t wait to update all of you on all my adventures!
