This was the first time I’ve ever toured a store before it opened to the public and it was so exciting! Everything was so perfect and organized! Uniqlo’s mission is to make your shopping experience easy and fun and they have done just that! The store is stocked with every item in every color and every size. The layout makes it so easy to quickly find what you are searching for. In addition, they have taken clothing to a new level with the combination of style and technology. They have fitness and under wear that wicks sweat from your body, lightweight down jackets that fit into small pouches and “heat tech” under garments that keep you toasty when you are skiing! And not to mention, the women’s Heattech products contain argan oil that prevents the cold winter weather from drying out your skin.
I was also impressed that they hired over 100 people locally including people with disabilities. They strongly believe in a diverse workforce and are very excited to become an involved presence in the Denver community. They also mentioned that the local staff they hired are people who truly represent the demographic of customers. In November they are doing a special event where they are giving gift cards to underprivileged kids and allowing them to shop for Winter wardrobes. Way to go Uniqlo!
The store is open to the public, this Friday, October 28th and in two weeks you will be able to order online and pickup in the store the next day! Also, make sure you check out the second floor where they have a corner dedicated to their collaborations with local Colorado brands. You might even notice a pic of your favorite fashion blogger up there! Welcome to Denver Uniqlo, we are so glad you are here!
